COVID-19 UpdateMarch 26, 2020 - BC Government Announcement 

In a response to yesterday’s mandate from the BC Government, we would like to advise all Tenants of their direction. If you lose your job due to Covid-19, you need to apply on the BC Housing website for a $500 per month allowance from the BC government. This is not discounting your rent, it is only a deferral. Payment plans can be setup if needed. Please note, that if your job was not affected, you still need to pay your full rent on time. We are asking that all tenants and landlords work together as best as possible. This means communicating so all parties are informed of what the status of the situation is. For those of you in multi-unit buildings, please ensure you respect each other and maintain social distance of 2 meters. This is also something that needs to be adhered to in the laundry rooms or parking areas etc. If you received a rent increase that was supposed to take effect between April 1, 2020 and July 31, 2020, this will not take effect until August 1, 2020. COVID-19 Update - March 18, 2020 - Re: Cornerstone Properties Ltd. – Restricted Access

Please be advised that effective immediately and until further notice, we are restricting public access to our office except by appointment. Access is permitted for couriers, deliveries, and Canada Post. As the office door will be locked, please knock loudly or press the doorbell to the left of the office door. There is also a secure drop box outside the main entrance of our building for clients to leave items. The majority of our staff will be working from home for the near future during our regular office hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
